Where are we going?
Boston, MA is the beginning and end of our trip, but the heart of our honeymoon will be spent adventuring around the state of Maine. Maine is apparently beautiful in the summer as it has much milder weather than most East Coast cities, plus summer time equals Lobster!! We are excited to explore a place we would probably otherwise never get to see. Check out below what we have planned!

Hotel in the heart of downtown Boston
The Langham Boston was once the site of the Federal Reserve Bank and is listed as a national architectural landmark. (aka fancy pants!) Neither Steve nor myself has ever been to Boston, so we look forward to doing our one night there in style!

Rental car for exploring
We will be spending a total of 8 days on our honeymoon and will need wheels to get us to all of our amazing destinations. We will also in fact be renting a Toyota Camry, so please check-out the real deal image you see before you!

Yurting in the mountains of Montville
Steve is very excited about the possibility of fishing around Montville and I love the idea of being out in the middle of nowhere at a family run farm. This part of the trip is going to provide us with our first chance to really sit back and relax.

Three nights at B&B in Acadia National Park
Specifically we will be staying in South West Harbor, Maine at the Harbour Cottage Inn (in the picture below), which is located on the border of Acadia National Park. We will have four days here to check out many local towns, shops and restaurants, but more importantly the park itself. Two day bike rental in Acadia National Forest
The less driving we have to do, the better! This gives us the opportunity to coast around town, as well as the park. Maybe we will take some food and find ourselves deep in Acadia having a pick-nic :)

One night at B&B in Portland, Maine
The last night of our honeymoon will be spent at The Inn at Park Spring in the city of Portland, Maine. Portland is said to be the "San Francisco of Maine" and is known for its many restaurants, museums and downtown night life.

Lobster!
Hello! Maine = Lobster! This is definitely one of the biggest reasons we are taking this trip. Depending on how many clicks this link gets Steve and I might actually get the opportunity to eat Lobster in some form EVERY NIGHT! Ok, maybe not that much, but our fingers are crossed!
